I am looking for feedback on how the infant car seat works for you in the top position of the Britax B-Ready.
I called Britax Tech Support yesterday and they said only the Britax car seats actually click in to the universal adapter for the top on the stroller. Every other car seat needs to have a strap over it to be secured....
We live in Europe, streets are uneven, I go up and down old trams and trains a lot with the help of someone picking up the front of the stroller, etc... Hearing that the car seat is only strapped in to the adapter vs clicked in now has me concerned and thinking twice about purchasing the stroller.
I am looking for your advice!?
Re: Any Britax B-Ready Stroller Moms?
Hi -
I have this stroller, but have not used it with a car seat attached. I do have one comment though. This stroller is bulky and can seem heavy. It is not one that I would choose to move up and down stairs multiple times daily.
Other than that comment, though, I do like the stroller and both my DD seem to enjoy riding in it.
Hey there,
So I have the Britax B-Ready as my (in the car stroller for the mall and running errands) but I really wouldn't recommend it for a stroller to live in, take around the city etc. It's kind of heavy and very bulky - I run into every doorway because the back wheels are protruding quite a bit. But then again I do use it with just the chaperone car seat clipped into the top part and it has been used quite a bit for my NB as my toddler prefers to walk. I'm from Sweden myself and I would get a stroller with air-filled wheels for the European streets. We traveled to Sweden this summer and brought our BOB stroller and it was awesome for trains, busses etc. To be honest I kind of regretting getting the britax B-ready, and would have bought a phil and teds or another inline double stroller, but I liked the car seat clip in feature and that it could convert into a double.
