Do you bathe your "toddler" DC everday?

We typically give him a shower or bath every night. Although, I'm thinking that since the weather has turned cold and it has become dry in the house, that we may bathe him every other night. He has some really dry skin in the winter and I'm reluctant to bathe him every night because of this. I have to load him up with thick moisturizing lotion every night as it is.

  • Yes, we do & always have.  It's a part of his routine & since it doesn't bother his skin we see no issue with it.

  • We don't. She gets one every other day and on the off days, I'll just wipe her down really well with a warm wet rag. Her skin gets too dry otherwise.

  • We do, and we still lotion him up too.

  • no, every other night mostly sometimes if we go to church or some kindof "special" outing  he will get one before leaving, so he's all spiffy and looks/smells his best.
  • Yes, but only b/c it is part of his routine.  I, too, cover him with lotion afterwards.

  • Not every night....especially in the winter when we're not spending as much time outside (she's less dirty/sweaty/etc.).  If she manages to not make too much of a mess at dinner, and she's had a bath the night before, I'll usually put her to bed without a bath.
  • Yes, every day. We live in Florida...no such thing as dry weather here. He sweats daily, so he gets bathed daily.
  • We live in Florida also. DD gets a bath everyday. She doesn't have a problem with dry skin though.
  • Absolutely!  He's as daycare all day and just think it's best to wash off all those germs.  Plus it's been a part of his routine from the very beginning.

  • No, we live in a dry climate and it's terrible for her skin.  We do 2-3 times per week plus extra for special occasions or serious dirtyness.

  • Nope.  Both kids have really dry skin/excema issues, so they get baths MAYBE 3 times a week -usually only 2 (unless of course they get really dirty).  We will wash DS2's hair in the sink when it gets really gross, but even that has made his forehead super dry.  It's hard when they have dry skin issues.
  • Yes, every day. He's too dirty by the end of the day from playing to not have a bath.

  • No, maybe 3 times a week. Mine also has excema (sp?) and he doesn't usually play outside esp. now that it is cold. He also isn't in daycare and stays pretty clean. Everyday would be tough on his skin.
  • yes we do. She gets SO dirty at daycare I feel we have to.

  • Yes, we do and we always have. I lotion him up from head to toe afterwards.
