DD can open her chest clip on the carseat

DS is nice and asleep Smile and I hate hospitals

 

Today we discovered DD can open the chest clip on her car seat. At first I thought DH forgot to close it and I flipped out. Then we found her unclipped again and I was the one who put her in so I know it was closed.

She's 14 months old so I'm not sure how much of the "don't touch this" got through to her. I don't catch her in the act since she's RF. 

Please is there anything I can do? Its a squeeze clip, not a push one.

    This looks great. I was going to suggest crafting something out of cardboard/tiny pieces of wood- think paint stirrer (stiff to prevent her from pinching the clasp), fabric around it so it'll last a bit & can be manipulated, and Velcro so it's reusable.

    yeah. I always pull it as tight as possible. The clip hasn't fully comes out, the ends are still inside but just the fact she can get the buttons down scares me
