A/S update

We have a healthy baby girl... well maybe a girl.  The cord was between her legs and the tech said that she couldn't get a great shot, but that she didn't see boy parts and was 90% certain that it was a girl. 

Now I just have to decide if I'm willing to gamble on that 90% or if I should stick with gender neutral colors in the nursery.  Its yellow but I wanted to stencil pink and purple flowers on the wall if its a girl.

    I guess you never can be sure when the tech can't 100% say girl.  Congrats on a good scan.  Do you get another US at 32 weeks or around there where you will be able to get another guess at the gender?

    Whew!  When I read your frist sentence quickly I thought you meant that the "healthy" part was the "maybe"...so glad it is just a gender thing! 

    I'd get confirmation before jumping into that painting project.  Just in case...

    Congrats on a healthy baby!  I would probably be tempted to get an elective u/s in this case even though I am usually too cheap.  But I am also obsessed with girly stuff and I wouldn't be able to wait.  GL!

    I only get another scan if there is a problem (which hopefully there won't be).  I might look into an elective place if I can convince DH.

    Congrats on a great A/S!  Can you ask for another u/s for gender check since you were unable to get a good answer for that? I have heard of some girls going in for second scan to get gender check, but don't know if they had to pay out of pocket.

    Congrats!!  I would definitely ask your OB if you can have another check for gender.  I'm sure he/she would understand your wanting to be 100% before buying all the baby gear!  Can't hurt to ask.

    Congrats on a healthy baby girl (maybe)!!  You could also go to an elective u/s place to be sure.
