NYU Fertility Center

Does anyone here have experience with NYU Fertility Center?  Would love to hear thoughts and specific recs for doctors there, even if second-hand.  It's the practice my gyno recommended (she's affiliated with NYU, though).  I've resolved to do an initial consult with an RE soon.  TIA!

    A friend of mine worked with them for her third IVF/FET cycle that ultimately resulted in success for her.  I will ask her who her doc was.

    I have an appointment with Dr. Berkley on the 21st. I did a bit of research online and it looks like a good place. We shall see!

    Thanks, both of you.  I'm leaning toward Dr. Fino (one of two specific names there my doc gave me, and I have a slight preference for a woman) but would love to hear feedback about others there and the practice in general.  My doc told me I could also try to get in to see Dr. Grifo, the head of the practice, who's very well-known and quoted in the press a lot, etc., but I'm not sure I want to call him because I'm worried he'd have a longer wait and might be busier/less accessible than the others, which would bother me.

    I tried first to make my appointment with Dr Licciardi. He wasn't available till October so they got me in with Berkley. At this point, I just want to see someone, you know? Good luck! I'll try and remember to post over here once I have my appointment (my home board is ttcal).

    a friend of a friend HIGHLY recommended dr berkley...i had 2 mc @ 9wk4d & 9wk...im calling today to make an appointment - i hope we all have success soon, stay well

    How did it go with Berkley?  I went to Dr. Licciardi and the end result was a beautiful healthy baby boy.  When you go to them, you end up visiting with sevaral of the partners. They alternate rotations.  My preference was Dr. Berkley, his bedside manner was great. Also, Dr. Griffo implanted my embryos that took. I had two rounds before success.
