I wouldn't go to the Dr. unless you are having yellow/green nasal discharge along with it (which could mean an infection and you need antibiotics), you are running a fever, or you are starting to see blisters in your throat/mouth (could be strep). However, I tend to avoid Drs. as much as possible. I am currently battling a scratchy throat, stopped-up ears/nose and dizziness, so I can relate, but am hoping it's just allergies. My allergies always get bad this time of year. I did have a check-up with my OB yesterday and I mentioned it to him since I was there and he said alot of people are having sinus/allergy issues rght now. Maybe that's what's going on with you too, and you'll start feeling better soon.
That said, if you feel like you'd feel better going to the Dr., I say go for it. We need to stress as little as possible right now.

If it's just a cold, a hot water gargle with salt dissolved in it does wonders for abbreviating the length of the cold. I have a cold right now and am so annoyed my doc told me I can't take decongestants (could affect LO's heart rate). I just want to take some Nyquil and pass out...
Re: Sore throat
get apple vinegar and dilute it with equal part water and gargle with it....should go away in about a day...good luck
