Trying to Get Pregnant

GTKY: Symptoms you don't bother tracking

For me: lots of water = 'frequent urination' so it seems silly for me to bother tracking this. I also don't track my PNV (but I could see some of the other meds being important to track, especially if only taken at specific points in one's cycle).

So, what don't you bother to track?

  • I don't really track any symptoms except for sore boobs, drinking, and fatigue.

  • I hardly ever track exercise.

I am curious what you all consider drinking? If I have a beer or a glass of wine with dinner, I dont mark drinking... but if we go out on a Friday night and I get buzzed, I do. WWTTGPD?

  • I don't track "frequent urination" either, mostly because I can't hold my pee at all.

  • I don't track PNVs either. Otherwise, since I've just started charting again (after a long hiatus) I've been trying to track most things, just so I can get a feel for whether there are any patterns to any of the things I experience (also, if I do try to misinterpret them as PG signs, I can reality check by going back to prior charts to realize that I've had those same symptoms before, without being PG).

  • I track drinking, and loss of sleep (not usual for me, but when I went to the Taylor Swift concert I didn't get to bed until after 1 am, and had to wake up at 5..so that's a major loss of sleep for me)! That's about all..

  • The main ones I don't track are frequent urination, PNVs, and fatigue (because working nights always makes me fatigued).  Other stuff I just use common sense: like if I get a headache and I know I've barely drank any water all day, I know it's probably because I'm dehydrated, and not hormonal or pg reasons, so I don't mark it.

  • Dont laugh- but I do track hiccups. I randomly get hiccups sometimes, and I had read that some women get them around O.... so last month I added it in to see if maybe there was a connection.

  • All I track is temp & sex.  I know that I take my synthroid and PNV everyday.

Side note:  I don't temp at the same time everyday either.  Whenever I wake up which is alway in the same 30 minute time frame.  If it's not then oh, well.  FF has still been able to confirmed ovulation.

I only mark it if we drank the night before and I had a buzz or had too much. Embarrassed Occasionally if I have a beer or two at night with dinner and my temp really spikes I will just make a note in the notes section for myself

  • I dont track nausea or bathroom trips anymore.  I learned that drinking more water=pee time like the other girls said.  Other than that I dont really have any other symptoms anyway....I have noticed that my breasts are a little sore or wierd feeling around O time and that I feel tired after O?  Mid cycle tiredness seems to be a pattern for me.

  • I don't track things I do every day or pretty much every day - exercise, PNV, frequent urination.  I DO, however, track coffee and the sharp, constant cramping I have.  I did not used to chart the cramping, but then I decided that I wanted my doctor to see a record of how often I experience this.

As far as drinking goes, if I have more than a glass or two of wine I can actually feel the alcohol burning off in the night.  I wake up with hot flashes.  I mark this as "drinking" because I know it kicks my temp up a bit.

  • In addition to tracking temp and making note of CM, I track any sign of cramping mid month as well as the results of my ovulation tests.  Drinking is a great idea-I'm going to start that now too.

I ignore them too. I tracked my symptoms for one month and I didn't really see the point for me. I wanted to see how many pregnancy points FF would give me. Lame.

  • I track PNV, just because it helps me to remember to take it.  I also track my moods just because it's interesting to me to see how they change throughout my cycle.

  • I track headaches, because with my migraines I try to figure out patterns--like whether I get more around O or right before AF. Other than that I mostly track things that may have messed with my temp--like mouth breathing. I don't normally track any digestion stuff because there are so many other factors that could contribute.

  • I'm not going to track fatigue because I have a 2 and half-year old who doesn't sleep well and I'm an insomniac.

  • I take meds for an overactive bladder so frequent urination is on a daily basis for me!Also I don't count high stress. I'm always stressed between school and work.
  • I pretty much only track Opain, and my usual PMS symptoms of sore boobs, cramps, and skin breakouts, because those are all there every cycle and I like to see how they factor into the pattern of my cycle.

Also, since it was brought up, like PP, I only mark drinking if I've had more than two/get a buzz. I don't really count a glass of wine or a beer with dinner as "drinking".

The one that I really don't understand is tracking exercise. Why? To account for soreness?
