My uterus is jealous.

I know this is not Baby names, but just let me say: My cousin just had her son in June. Next closest cousin is due in Feb. Another cousin just called and said she's pregnant (one who never wanted to have kids before) and is due in May. I had been lapsing back into baby fever, but now... OMG, my uterus is jealous! I want another baby! (Then I start talking sense to myself how I'm almost done with diapers and the kids finally sleep through the night, and I can get 8 hours sleep straight if I go to sleep at a reasonable hour.) Thank you.

ETA: Don't worry, I'm not going to have a kid just because my cousins are pregnant. Just a mini vent.

    I'm with you. I am surrounded by pregnant friends and newborns and it's killing me. I am so ready to TTC # 2, but life (and DH's well-founded arguments to wait) are getting in the way. I was actually about to post a "talk me out of the baby fever" thread on another board.

    To make this baby-names-related, at least DH and I have already agreed to a girl name and boy name and have a few back-ups in case of twins. But DH wants to wait until next summer to TTC. I can wait another 9 months, right?

    At least your DH has agreed to more in the future. My DH says he's done. I may be able to talk him into another in a few years, or I may decide I'm fine with my two and be a surrogate for someone else. Or I may just decide I'm good now and do a lot of babysitting. :) My names that are cute but too out there (to make this BN related) are Lucy Sunshine and Twyla Rose.

    We're waiting til next summer to TTC again, but lately I can't keep my mind off the subject. Thus, my obsession with this board.

    I wish I was surrounded by family members having babies... so far I'm the only one on either side and that's counting immediate family and cousins! Just before I found out that number two is on the way, I was whining to DH that Connor was needing some baby cousins. It's kind of lonely being the only young mama in this family.
