I know babies and kids grow a ton for a long time. But when does it kind of 'even out'? Silas is already in 9 and 12 month clothing and he just turned 4 months. Is he going to be in size 2t by 6 months old!!?
I have heard from friends that they eventually slow down a bit and even out, but when did that happen for you?
My oldest is 27 months now and he stopped growing rapidly around the time he started crawling and walking. 7 months for crawling and he started walking around a year.

Yep, once they get mobile, it starts to taper.
My 3 year old DS weighs about 32 lbs right now. He was always a size ahead in clothes, but once we hit 18 months/2T he fell right in line. He wears a 3T right now.
It will start to taper off soon. With DS, I felt like I was constantly sorting through his closet for the first year. Once he got to be a year old I skipped buying 18month clothing and went straight to 24month or 2T. It was a little big for awhile, but it worked. He just turned 2 and now he wears his clothing throughout and entire year.
