  I am so very sorry. I have had a blighted ovum/anembryonic pregnancy in the past and it was awful. I am very sorry. It took me about 10-12 days to miscarry naturally. I am glad I waited as it gave me time to come to terms with my loss and say goodbye. I am sorry you are going through this.

  Cycle 12~ 50 mg Clomid=BFP 9/9/11, Beta #1=280 & Beta #2=1513, 6w3d hb=122 bpm/ 8w2d hb=186 bpm/12w2d could not hear hb had a 3rd u/s and got to see the hb. 16w2d heard the hb! 156 bpm. A/S 1/3=girl

   Just wanted to update you all from my last post on Tuesday. After a disappointing first ultrasound at 8w2d, Ive gone over results with dr and basically im being diagnosed with blighted ovum. Only sac was found and no fetal pole. Being certain, dr is having me have blood work done twice, yesterday and tomorrow to see my hcg levels. My hcg level from yesterday was 10,368 and wont know tomorrows number until Monday. She said if my numbers double, there may be a chance baby was missed but if number decreases, well we all know why. I also have a followup ultrasound Monday to make sure no baby is found. Pretty much I have a blighted ovum and my egg was fertilized but didnt progress from there. Im sad but its not the worst thing in the world. I have my almost two yr old princess to look at for comfort and hope. If I didnt have her, think id feel a lot worse.

  Ive begun cramping but still no bleeding. I just hope I can miscarry naturally and not have a d&c done. Then Id have to wait even longer to try again.

  I'm so sorry you are going thru this. I had a blighted ovum in April and opted for the D&C as my body wasn't recognizing the loss. ((hugs)) the m/c loss board and TTCAL when you are ready are great sources of support and info. Again, I'm sorry you are experiencing this.

  TTC since 8/2010. Irregular cycles after stopping BCP.
  1st BFP! 3/26/11. Missed M/C - D&C 5/2/11.
  Always missed: Our little Blueberry. It's Never Over.

  I have had losses & know how hard it is. I am so sorry you are going through this. You could askYour OB if they are comfortable prescribing cytotec to induce "labor" ( passing tissue) to avoidSurgery....I know some Ob's are ok with that. (((hugs)))

  Wedding Fall 2007 Off OCP's since 9/08-started with BBT charts Saw Ob/gyn May 2009 Blood work normal except single copy of MTHFR Clomid 50mg May 2009 Clomid 50mg + IUI June 2009 Femara 5mg + IUI July 2009 Normal HSG July 2009 Femara 5mg + ovidrel+IUI August 2009 Femara 5mg +ovidrel + IUI September 2009 November 2009-normal lap December 2009-met with RE December/January-Injectible med cycle with IUI-Abnormal sperm morpology found-only 0-1% normal All Head defects. Jan/Feb 2010 1st IVF with ICSI-5 week chemical pregnancy Feb 2010-male infertility doc says DH's anatomy and blood work are normal so nothing he can do. FET July 2010-BFP!
