we waited for 4 hours at the specialist's before being seen due to the 'emergencies'-which I thought Russ was one of. He has an almost complete vitrious detachment in his eye-no treatment necessary. I guess this is common but usually in people over 50 (your brain gets used to the floaters I guess).
We have a follow-up appointment in 4 weeks. Still not sure if I feel comfortable with him leaving tomorrow for FL but let's see.
i think this is what my dad recently experienced. i'm glad it was no big deal, but i understand your feelings about him leaving!

Glad it's okay. I've had floaters for years. I only really notice them if I'm staring at something white.
I hope his trip goes smoothly!
