XP: Interviewing Daycares/Sitters

XP from my month board...

DH and I had planned to start visiting our narrowed-down list of daycares and in-home sitters next month, but I saw a post on my neighborhood's facebook page today from a woman new to the neighborhood that has provided in-home care for the last 12 years.  They are new to the neighborhood and new to the area.  I called her immediately and we seemed to really hit it off.  She gave me some names/numbers of former parents and made plans for DH & I to meet with her this weekend.

I have a few questions in mind, but I'm sure there are things I haven't thought of.  What questions are you planning to ask potential daycare providers?

    I'd ask about the ratio of kids, do you have to pay if your child is sick/you go on vacation (some places give you so many freebie days), what holidays will she close for, and when the baby is on table food/milk, will you provide it or will she?
