my new favorite thing...

...the jogging stroller.  I've been taking DS out in it and he absolutely loves it.  Stroller naps are 1000 times better than car naps.  It takes a block for him to fall asleep and he is out for the whole walk and then will sleep for a long time once we get back.  I absolutely love it and its really good for me too.

I guess I now have extra motivation to keep training for that half marathon I'm doing after thanksgiving.

  • Isn't there a grace period when you shouldn't jog with a baby? I'm not sure when it is, but I would assume once they can control their heads.

Good for you for running again, though. I'm jealous. I just can't find the time to get out there yet.

  • I don't have a jogging stroller, but have been taking my kids (3 years and 7 weeks) out in the stroller every morning.  I walk my son to and from preschool, which adds up to about 5 miles each morning.  They love and so do I!  I am feeling so much better now that I am getting active again and my baby actually rides better in the stroller (in the carseat, attached to the stroller) than the car!

Yeah ,i was worried about that but his car seats sits in the stroller so he is still in that and his head control is great so he's not flopping around in there.

I hope you mean it straps in or something...

Of course it does.  It was a travel system.  The car seat locks into the stroller. I promise you I'm not just running down the street, hoping that my baby isn't going to fall out into traffic.
