Post sex / BH?

So DH and I had sex for the first time in well I don't even know how long last night. I was having contractions after which I know is nothing to be worried about and is normal. Question is should I still be having them? I woke up this am and felt a couple so desided to time them. I am contracting every 2-8 mins. And they last only about 30 secs. Nothing really painful but idk if it's normal to have them this long after having sex.

    I always get increased BH after sex. Usually increased for about 24 hours or so. OB said it's normal, just if I get more than 6 in an hour to call.

    I had some issues with that as well. While my MW said as long as you don't have more than 4-5 in an hour then you are okay, I was having them very frequently so we went in and were told that semen has hormones in it that can cause these types of things. They said to either avoid sex or to use a condom.
