Minor meltdown in 3...2...1...

So I'm doing my last load of 0 - 3 (still haven't found any formal NB, but according to the weights, the clothes I have are supposed to be for 7-10 lbs, so they are definitely tiny).  Looking at the actual size of these clothes, I'm having a minor melt down realizing that I'M going to be responsible to care and look after something THAT tiny!  I don't know if I can do this!  Please tell me I'm crazy and that I can do this!

    I had a similar meltdown when I opened the sample package of newborn-sized diapers.  I had this look of horror on my face and DH said, "What's wrong?" I said, "In four months, we're going to be completely responsible for something that fits into this teeny little diaper!" 

    I've been around babies and newborns before, but it's a whole different ballgame when you're the mommy...we can do it!

    Funny.. I had a meltdown while doing baby laundry too, but it was because I was terrified of something so BIG having to come out of me somehow! Stick out tongue

    pushing the baby out - freak out!

    taking care of a human being that cant even lift her head up - freak out! 

    washing around a stump of a umbilical cord that is going to fall off - freak out!

    bleeding for days and days after birth - scared

    breast pain as my milk comes in - scared

    However - seeing what my little baby will look like - excited. 

    watching my husband hold our little baby - excited
