So yesterday I received in the mail the letter from Shady Grove stating that my insurance will cover my 6 cycles of IUI's. Whoo hoo! Talk about a huge relief!! My RE submitted my treatment plan the first time we met with him to the insurance company to get the authorization of coverage.
The insurance only pays for 50% of IUI's, but that is 50% less then we have to pay OOP. I am so extremely happy to hear that news. We have the authorization code and everything from the insurance company.
I think I do have to pay for medications OOP so that should be interesting when the time comes!
Sorry just had to share!
