I second Eleven.  It's great.  Casbah is the same restaurant group and delicious, too.  Really, any of the big Burrito places (Umi, Kaya, Mad Mex also) are good.   I also like Six Penn Kitchen (Downtown) and Alla Famiglia (Mt Oliver--pretty pricey but my favorite). 

Tessaro's (Bloomfield) has a great burger.  Hyde Park (North Side) is a chain steakhouse but really good and fresh, and they have a early-bird special that is really reasonable.  Piper's Pub (South Side) is my favorite for bar food and Irish stuff. 

Can you tell I really like to eat out?  What part of town does he travel to?  I can give you more based on that...

    I know this wasn't meant for me but I just moved here so thank you!!  DH and I always sit and scratch our head for where to go on date night...we'll have to try some of those places.

    Thank you I will give him all these places. He actually stays right down town. He has meetings there all the time. He always calls and says he is just driving around. last time he said he started driving in a bad area and couldn't get out. LOL That is how much my DH loves food. He watches all those shows like Man vs food and diners drive ins and dives.image
