Are you planning on delivering at a hospital? If so I would check with them. Depending on your insurance, that may be covered.
I delivered at FSH and they offered baby CPR class.
Thanks for the suggestion. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong--
I'm delivering at JHH and they don't seem to offer a class.
I did a quick google search and found this - https://www.hopkinsbayview.org/obgyn/clinicalservices/obstetrics/prenataleducation.html
You might want to call and see if CPR is covered in the childbirth class.
St. Joe's offers them. I took many classes there, including the infant CPR class. It was worth it...I actually needed to use a little bit of the info the other day. DS choked on cantaloupe.
Red Cross also offers an infant/child/adult CPR (all-in-one) class. There is a cost, but I've been certified by them before and they're very good.
You can go to RedCross.com and find your area office and schedule of classes.
(I often get certified for my job annually, this year I think I'll slip in the infant part as well as the adult.)
