Somewhere between Philly and NYC for a playdate?

Any great ideas somewhere not too far off of NJ Turnpike to meet up with my SIL and her son for playdates?  We live in Philly and they are in NYC and we would love to meet up some time.  Lunch would be fine, but somewhere with an indoor play area or awesome outdoor park for a nice day would be ideal.  Open to all different ideas.  Would prefer to keep in 1 hour-1.25 hour from both NYC and Philly.

    Freehold/manalapan/colts neck area would work. This time of year is great for apple picking, pumpkin picking, etc. Summer months there is dorbrook park. HTH!
