Is it to late?

Please forgive me if this is an ignorant question.

I chart, check CM but I don't temp. My body is like clockwork and I can feel when I ovulate. I've had creamy CM for the past several days. Today is CD12 and I woke up to pretty bad ovulation cramps with very wet and stretchy CM. According to my chart, I shouldn't ovulate until Friday or Sat. so the cramping seems early to me. DH works out of town and isn't due home until tonight.

Is it too late?

I am thinking the timing should be just right and I should've done a little bit more research before asking...sorry. I usually have wet CM several days before cramping, so that's why I thought it could be too late.

First off, from my understanding, CM is only an indication that ovulation is on its way; the only way to be sure whether or not you have ovulated is through a temp. shift. However, it sounds like you know your cycle really well, and I am a big believer in trusting your instincts (esp. regarding women and their bodies)

I would think that it's not too late because EWCM is a sign that you're about to ovulate. Your CM should dry up pretty quickly once you have ovulated. I would definitely recommend jumping your DH when he gets home tonight! And I am definitely hoping GREAT things for you guys this cycle! The SA results are the first of what I hope is lots of good news for you!

Thanks, I'm hoping the timing is just right. It's just so hard to plan w/ DH working out of town and I panicked when I woke up to the o-pain, thinking another chance had passed us by.
