Fighting the temptation but its so hard

I want a cigarette so bad. There is one in the house calling my name. I quit over a year ago and have only slipped once at a bachelorette party. It is really hard right now to keep from lighting up. I keep thinking just one won't hurt.

    Noooo. Step away from the cigarette! Besides, you're 12dpo, don't want to hurt that phantom baby :)

    Thanks. I think knowing its there is hunting my most. I really wish DH would quit so the temptation isn't there. Maybe a glass of red wine instead?

    TTC since 3/2010 Off BCP 2008 B/W = Good
    HSG 6/24/2011 = Clear S/A = Decrease in Morph due to meds
    First RE appt = 8/24/2011 Lap on 9/16/2011
    Dx = Endo and possible blocked tube
    Natural Cycle due to Cyst

    Resist the temptation! I've seen H struggle to quit. Enjoy the wine and chocolate instead...or bake some chocolate chip cookies. :-)

    Ugh. I know how you feel. I have struggled on and off for a few years, and still slip every now and then.

    DH is now trying to quit, and that may drive me to drink. He is a major pain in the ass when he tries to quit.

    Started TTC 2/2009
    Started fertility treatments 11/2010
    Ovarian dysfunction, LPD, male factor
    6 failed medicated IUI's
    Pregnant 5/2011 - Miscarriage at 6 weeks due to triploidy
    Decided to adopt - 6/2012
    SURPRISE! Pregnant without intervention - 7/2012 
    Sweet Baby James Born 3/2013
    Decided to be "One and Done"

    ....OR NOT.
    Pregnant 12/2018 despite birth control pills
    Here we go again...
    Due 8/26/19!

    Thanks for the support ladies. I went with the wine and chocolates. I have just been so stressed with work its easy to want to fall back into old habits. I threw the cigarette away as well.
