Yesterday morning I took an Ovulation test and it came out (according to the box) that I'm going to be ovulating soon (24-36 hours). Granted this is my "first ovulation" since stopping the pill, I do know I may not actually ovulate or I may not have success. But I felt like there was hope...unable to see my husband last night, I was worried that my window was closed for the month. So this morning I woke up and had small cramping.
Could cramping be a sign of ovulation?
Me being me...lol...I took another ovulation test and it said that my levels were still high...all this charting (I still have no clue what I'm doing) is so confusing......
Re: Ovulation
I just started charting this month and I'm not finding it easy. I wake up at different times some days and some days I forget to temp.
I will say that this month I wasn't paying too much attention to what CD I was on to start my OPK. I had skipped a few days and then one Monday morning I woke up with some cramps. I took a OPK and sure enough I got my
. Tooke one the next day and got another
. It's possible you still have a chance but you have to temp to know for sure.
Not always this easy.....
OP, even though you didn't see your DH the day you ovulated, if you had sex during your fertile window, you could still be in. Don't get yourself stressed out. Are you charting on FF, temping, etc? You can click on anyone's ticker and check out the website. It really does take a lot of the guesswork out of things.

Not that I have had any experience (personally) thus far in TTTC, but having a "don't care" attitude doesn't help you if you have an actual problem; nor does it help you achieve good timing. "Trying" in the sense of charting temps, will tell you if you are not ovulating, or have a short LP, etc. and give you an idea of what is going on in your body. Ignoring problems doesn't make them go away; and not realizing you have them doesn't mean you don't. While TTC can cause a lot of stress in some cases, which doesn't help fertility, I highly doubt that relaxing altogether is a cure-all. It may work for an extremely rare few, but chances are, you just got lucky coincidentally at this time. Congrats on your DS, but nothing irks me more than when people say "just relax and it will happen" or "charting is unnatural".
