Dh and I purchased a new Truck for him today. It was a good investment and it will be able to haul children when it comes time for that. Its just overwhelming purchasing a nicer vehicle than what your used to, payments are the same, but its just the thought.. overall though I love it.
Does anyone else get sick to their stomach when they make a big purchase?

Re: Really sick to my stomach..
Yep, give it sometime and let it settle. I am sure once you have made a few payments you will feel better
congrats on the new ride..

I was sick for months when we bought our house. We put 20% down, and to write that check was just horrendous. And our mortgage is double what our rent was, so it took me a long time to feel comfortable writing that check as well. Even worse for me is January-April - DH is self-employed, and we always write a nice fat check to the IRS. Ugh.
My truck is paid off, and has 113,000 miles, and DH's truck is also paid off and has 150,000 miles. We'll be looking at trucks soon, and I don't even want to think about it...
Night time is also my worst "worry time".
