Trying to Get Pregnant

Clear blue OPK

Ok so for the past 5 months i have used wondfos brand OPK and always got a positive around CD13-14. This month i decided top try clear blue digital(the smiley face one). this morning i took a test and got a postive smiley, then took the test out to look at the lines and there was only the control line and a VERY VERY faint line (I was always told darker than the control line or equal to). Then when i got home from work about 9 hours later i took another test and got a negative, so i took the test out and it looked the same as the test from this morning, So i'm confused, was it false positive this morning? Do any of you ladies have any experience with this happening? TIA

Also feel free to do a chart stalk =)

Re: Clear blue OPK

  • I'm pretty sure that you aren't supposed to rely on the lines for digital OPKs.  I used the clear blue digital for the first time this month too, and noticed the exact same thing - but I'm trusting my smiley :)

  • My friend just got a BFP, she used the ClearBlue OPK for one cycle.  So trust your smiley!  :)
  • I use the Clear Blue OPK test and got my 1st smiley yesterday!! (I had used it last cycle and it was a discouraging because it was just an empty head 4 times!) SO I say trust the smiley!! But I will let you know in 2 weeks just how accurate it is! ;)

  • Don't look at the strip, just trust the smiley. The digi strips don't matter.
