CP: hair color

Out of curiousity... I didn't include light, darks or variations because, well, there are too many. Feel free to comment if you want to clarify.

  • Bald? No, DD has brown, but I can only tell because she rocks a baby mullet and there's some party in the back that's thick/long enough to tell the color.

  • LO has beautiful red hair, though neither DH or I have red hair!! DH has a lightish brown, and my hair is really blonde. We figure she gets her haircolor from DH's grandmad who had red hair. Grandma is the ONLY relative that had red hair. I wonder if it will stay or change as LO grows more!

  • We've got red here, too! Both DH and I have blonde hair and no one in the immediate family has red. But, DH has red in his beard, and is 1/4 Irish. Some of my distant family has red hair and I'm 1/2 Irish. So who knows? I can hardly wait to see if it changes and if not what shade it will be. Right now it's a beautiful strawberry blonde color.

  • I voted brown, but really there is red in it when you look in the sunlight. It's in her eye brows too. Just like mine, I have brown hair with a strong hint of red. For me it skipped a generation or 2. My great grandma is full Irish so I think it came from her but everyone else in my family has dark brown hair.

so jealous. I'm 2/3rds Irish and really look it (to the point that Irish people in Dublin asked me directions when I was traveling), but my dark hair has no red.

also, I have a friend with dark hair & complexion, her DH is Mexican, and their two DD's have flaming red hair- weirdest thing!

Interesting. I also have the pale Irish skin. LO got her Dad's Russian olive complexion though.
BTW, we have the same anniversary. 10.10.08
