NE Philly, suggestions for child care & pediatricians

Greetings all Mommies and soon-to-be Moms,

 I am not due with my first child until February of next year, but are trying to research suggestions for child care in our area of Far Northeast Philly as well as suggestions for great pediatricians....I am delivering at Holy Redeemer and would prefer a pediatrician affiliated with the hospital like my family physician is

    Check out Northeast Pediatrics - a practice affiliated with St. Christopher's Hospital.  I've heard great things!  You can schedule an appointment to meet one of the docs before you have the baby.

    We used Margiotti & Kroll and liked them. They have a lot of docs and their hours were great. The office closest to you would be on Street Road in Trevose.

    There is an awesome daycare near Red Lion Road - Grow and Learn. The kids there get 3 meals a day (fresh cooked), sleep in cribs (you provide only the crib sheet and a blanket) and spend a lot of time playing outdoors. The area is nice and safe and away from major roads, the traffic is minimal. But they only take kids 12 months and up, I believe

    I used to go there til the age of like 18 because I loved all the doctors. I love Dr.Gold.
