Want to see what a half positive OPK looks like..PIP

Test line on left Control line right

I am sure you ladies have heard me biitch about not getting a "true" positive result like most of you do. So, I have been using Wondofu and the Clear Choice from the dollar store. I went to peeonastick.com and read the section about 1/2 positive results because every test I have taken seems to fade in and out to some degree. I then decided to call the Clear Choice 800# and ask someone. She told me the same info that was given to me on the peeonastick website so I asked her if they get email and if I could send her a picture.

So, long story short she called me back and said..Yes it was defiantly a positive result. I also double checked with a digi and for the first time EVER got Smile Anywhoo, I wanted to share this picture because many many people seem to ask the same question about half positives and never getting positive result. So, here it is..

Just to clarify, I was told each brand is different but this particular brand of test you go by the darkest part of the line and that part needs to be dark as or darker then the control

Thanks for posting this. I just started using OPK's this month and all of mine from CD14-16 looked like yours, the line got darker but since it wasn't solid dark I thought they were negative. I've been slacking off on temping becasue I was using the OPK's and thought that maybe I didn't "O" this month. Maybe I'm still in the game after all!

I was temping but couldn't understand why I had a temp shift but not a single positive OPK. I just figured that I was missing my surge but now I know I wasn't. GL!

Mine always look like this, the half line with the side to the pee end being darker. Even my negative opk's have the dark side. I didn't realize this was something to worry about. Thanks for posting!!

the "dark side" part made me think about Starwars..I am such a nerd ..I guess it really is not something to worry about. I just wanted to help the ladies out that often ask this question about OPK's not being positive and only half of the test line being dark.

OP- I am glad that you posted this. I have a OPK like this marked as "almost positive" in my chart. I always thought that the full line had to be the same width and the whole line had to be just as dark. This is great info!
