Belly Button dent?

This might sound weird but there is a dark purplish bruising color circling my belly button area......and even stranger.......the surrounding area around my belly button is NOT hard, but I can push it in. It's as if there is a dent around the entire area. I read about abdominal muscles splitting but I was just wondering if anyone else feels like there belly button area isn't as tight and out as the rest of your belly? My button is half out but I'm referencing the direct area around it. I'm sure I'm making NO sense!

Not sure what that is, at first I thought maybe your stretch marks around your belly button were turning purple; mine sometimes look a little darker some days than others. I'd talk to your dr's office.

I don't the answer really...but maybe it's just normal?

I did notice a darkening today on the inside of my belly button (I'm an innie that hasn't or won't pop). And I happened across a bumpie from some thread that had a picture of her belly in her siggy. Her button was really really dark--almost as if she'd set fire to something in the lil button hole. And yes, the description sounds as nasty as it looked.

WOW! Funky! Mine is like there's a mote around my button and the Mote is darkish. It also hurts when i press it in...yes I know, stop pressing in!

I have the EXACT same thing, there's a funny bruised coloring around it and it's really soft underneath it. The whole thing is wierd I try not to look too closely haha. Because it is so soft underneath that area I can almost always tell if he's moving by looking there to see if the skin is moving, maybe there's just no muscle right under the bellybutton?

Hmm I have the opposite- My belly button is barely there anymore and the skin around where the "hole" should be is a bright shade of white. Its super soft and honestly I can't look at it because it creeps me out. Especially when my daughter informs everyone within ten feet that "mama k. belly button gone, it gone!".

I don't have any stretch marks. I have that same bruising around my belly button as well. Mine started a few weeks ago. It a little softer around the belly button. My belly button is still in. Not much of it left but it is still there.

I hate to burst your bubble but stretch marks happen AFTER the skin has stretched out, not during the process.

I have developed several of them already and I still have several weeks to go, but I have always been prone to stretch marks so I knew they were coming. Maybe she'll be one of the lucky ones who will only get a few (if any at all). I wouldn't burst her bubble yet.
