I live in one of the suburbs of Dayton and am looking for a mom and baby group. I have 5 month old and am a stay at home mom now so I need to have some adult interaction. I have done a little bit of looking on-line but haven't found anything. Does anyone know of one?
Re: Does anyone know if there are any Mom groups in Dayton?
Check out www.mops.org
Hi there!
I am a fellow Dayton Bumpie, and a lot of the other Dayton Moms plan play dates at nearby parks from time to time just for that much-needed adult interaction.
We will let you know about the next get together! (BTW, I also have a 5 month old, as of yesterday!!)
sniff...
I am in one. It is called Dayton Mamas. Here is the site

It is one that you have to pay a fee each year, but that is to cover the site cost and our parties. (which are Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, and Christmas). It has moms from all over Dayton and you can pick and choose which meetups you want to go to. There are usually multiple ones a day.
Check out the Dayton Family Network. I have some SAHM friends that are really active in this group. It has activities from the North to South suburbs.
Glad you posted this. I'm in Dayton and a few days away from due date (hoping she doesn't stay in too much longer).
I haven't been checking the Cincinnati board much, so glad I checked today to see this.
Good luck picking a group, I'd love to hear your opinion, if you check them out.
There are many moms groups in the dayton area. You can check out local churches, MOMS group international, MOPS, south dayton moms, Dayton Family Network.
I'm partial to The Family Network www.daytonfamilynetwork.com which is a great group!
