Wow that is big, especially for a girl! Did they tell you the percentile?

My boys were 15.5 and 16 lbs at their 4 month checkup.

haha we were 18 lbs at 4 months! 95% for weight, 90% for height.

Length she is at 25 1/2 inches.. She is in the 93%!! I am 5'1 120 lbs I never thought I would produce a big baby! Hahah she was 9 lbs 8 oz at birth!

I have a big girl too! At 4 month check up she was 17lbs 7oz & 26 1/2" long! Both in the 98% tile. I love her chunkiness!

are the percentiles the same for boys and girls?

We've got a long skinny baby 45% for weight (14lb5oz) and 75% for height (26"). He grew 2 inches between his three and four month appts.

Boys and girls have different growth charts, I'm pretty sure. DS and DD have weighed about the same (exact same at birth) and DD is miles ahead in terms of percentages.

Hailey was 17.5lbs and 27" long at her 4 month check-up. That's above 95% for both! But her daddy is 6'4 so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

My 4 month old was 20 pounds 1 ounce and 28 inches long... she is gigantic. But, she was 11 pounds 2 ounces at birth.

Our LO was 17lbs 3oz at his 4 month checkup yesterday and the doctor told us he's overweight!!! She even wrote it on his chart. I couldn't believe it. She's not our regular doctor and I was not a fan of hers at all. I think he's chubby, adorable and perfectly healthy.

At his 4 month appointment 2 weeks ago, he was 17 lbs even and 25.5 inches. He is bigger than all of my friends babies that are older than him. I love my little chubby man!!
