Elaine was my MIL (who passed away from cancer) middle name, which is how we came up with Elaina. My mother's name is Margaret Mary. I would like to use one of those to honor her, but not really sure if either fit.

I think Elaina Margaret sounds good! Or how about Elaina Marie and you still have that "Mar" beginning like both your mother's names?

I think both Elaina Margaret and Elaina Mary sound beautiful together! I would got with one of those.
