function hall rental ideas for baptism reception?

Any recommendations?  I would love to keep this low-key (perhaps a Knights of Columbus Hall or a Community Center or something were we can bring in our own food and just rent the room).  Any suggestions would be great.  I would also love to get an idea of pricing if you have used any sites personally.

    Does your church have a function room that would suit you?  Where in RI are you? How big is your guest list?

    We are in N. Prov.  The church used the hall for classes.  We are thinking 40 people.

    I have been to many events at our local Elks in Attleboro, MA. from weddings to showers to birthday parties.
