Me! I just saw my MW on Monday and she told me everything was normal and sex shouldn't hurt. She told me to have a glass or 2 of wine before and it would be better. ha
I am FINALLY able to do it again. We had tried a few times since my 6 weeks appointment and it was too painful. We decided to try a different kind of lube (water based) and worked!! So try switching up the lube, it may help.
I second the suggestion of lube. BFing really cuts down on the natural lubrication your body makes. I've also heard that things get a lot better after the 6 month mark, don't know if it's true though.
I like to say that my vagina has post traumatic stress disorder and it's still recovering.

Your MW doesn't know what she's talking about. It is very common for EBF women to find sex painful for quite a while. Even women with c-sections who are EBF.

It's just now starting to kind of not hurt as much. I'm EBF. Believe me, I was so scared that it would never get better, but it did and still is.
Use lots of lube, but still go slowly. It will get better eventually.
Good luck.

It doesn't feel okay again until 6 months post delivery. It isn't fun again and with no lube until 1 year, really.
