More Sex since baby was born?

Since I was cleared at my 6 week appointment me and my DH have been having sex WAY more then we did before. We are having sex like every other day since I was allowed. It hurt for the first week but now its great and I even think Sex is better now then before birth! I think its like our time alone since when he gets home from work we are all about LO together and not really spending time just us. Any one else have this happening? I am not complaining I hope it last:)

This was a great thing to read. My 6 wk appt is next week along with our anniversary, so I've been almost dreading it because I'm so afraid its going to be so painful. We had alot of issues throughout my pregnancy that prevented us from being able to have sex, so its been 9+ months! Hope our experience is similar to yours!

The day we got the "all clear," we did it twice...we've only managed another 3 times since that night (that was almost 3 weeks ago), since DS doesnt really like to be laying down by himself for more than 5 minutes...not to say we havent tried though! We've probably wasted more condoms than we've actually been able to use because of all the interruptions. LOL

I was cleared 3.5 weeks ago - we've done it twice. And it's not because I don't want to - it's because DS goes to bed at the time we do and I nurse him before he goes to sleep...DH falls asleep and is snoring minutes after we go to bed (while I'm still sitting up nursing). So I would do it more - but DH is always asleep! Maybe once baby starts having an earlier bedtime...

I agree with you. For us it's because

a) I'm no longer consumed with getting pregnant and making sure everything is okay. Sex was a chore before, now it's fun again.

b) I was more tired at the end of my pregnancy than I ever was since baby got here. No sex at the end of pregnancy. At all.

c) It hurt at the end of my pregnancy, way worse than it ever did pp.

So I'm lovin' it too.

DD will be 10 weeks on Friday and we've done it twice! I wish we were doing it more but DH has been working a lot of hours and I'm tired too since I've gone back to work.
