It's been a while...

I know most of you probably don't really know who I am, but some of you do and it's been a while since I've posted. I thought I would give an update as to what's been keeping me away.

I'm going to try and make this short and sweet. I hate reading long updates and I'm going to guess that you do too.

Let's start with the beginning of last week: After a long day of hard work putting in a new front door, I went to finish the remaining dirty cups in the sink so DH and I could sit and relax. That decision landed me in the ER getting 16 stitches on my right hand. Oh, the love-hate relationship I have now formed with my thin glass Ikea cups... such a shame.

A couple days after that, I was attempting to help my LO up the stairs. Now, he is quite good at this but I still feel the need to help him. Good thing I do because he was only 2 stairs in when his sleepy self got a little wobbly. I must have turned a really odd way trying to help catch him with only one hand because I ended up spraining my knee.

Next up, I had to call my OB/GYN this past Monday because I have been having some weird cycles and I wasn't all that sure I was ovulating. My last period began Sept. 5 and I started bleeding 17 days into my cycle. I spoke to my nurse and she told me to come in. I did. They ended up diagnosing me with PCOS. My doctor did some blood work and now I am waiting for that.

So, now that PCOS is thrown into the mix, I feel a little lost. I hope it's okay that I'm back to pester you awesome ladies with questions. Hope everyone is doing well! (And sorry, this ended up being a little long)

It does not sound fun. I hope you doctor has some answers for you about the POCS. GL

Let's hope so! I've heard bad things come in three's... hoping I've met that quota.

You sound like me! I am always hurting myself.. so clumsy! I'm sorry that you are injured and now have to deal with PCOS... that sucks.. hopefully you can get some answers and on the right path to deal with that. Good luck.

Wow - I'm sorry you've had such a rough time of it lately. I hope your doctor can help talk you through the PCOS diagnosis and work with you on next steps to take. And welcome back!
