AHHHHH... I can't take it anymore. I need to get it out of my system. haha... 5 days until suspected AF. I know it is too early but I need to get it out of my system. T&P anyway please!!

As suspected...BFN. I am sure mostof you know what its like.. we are impatient and excited. As for the rest who think its weird or are annoyed... Why are you being negative? We are all super excited and anxious. If you are annoyed then don't read the post. I just hope the best for everyone and I understand that this is a stressful and exciting time for everyone. We understanding of everyone's differences. We are all going through the same things and we all just want support.

If you are going to test at times where you are pretty much guaranteeing that you will be disappointed, you are CREATING your own stress. That is not being negative, that is being realistic.

Ohh, hang in there honey. Different people are different and different people use the boards in different ways and different people are at different points in their TTC journey. You would feel differently if you are at this TTC thing for awhile. I started out just like you. It took us 8 cycles to get our son. By the time I was Rx Clomid and got pg I was sick and tired of the pollyana's but I still understood. And even when I did get pg on my first cycle of Clomid, there were women (on an different TTC message board) that weren't too thrilled - after all, they had been trying for much longer than I.

Also, please remember that this is just a message board. Don't take anything to heart from women you don't know.

But I will say this, the unicorn throwing up rainbows made me laugh out loud! You gotta see the hurmor in that!

Don't worry OP....I am in the same boat as you are! I am only 8 DPO today and I had to test this morning, if only just to get it out of system! It was obviously negative, but that hasn't affected me. My temps are still up and I'm feeling a bit queasy today, so I'm still hopeful (even though this is really TTC #1 for me)

I will enjoy being a Polyana for now. If I'm still at this 8 months from now I will try to remember what being new to this feels like!

As for the "I've been trying ___ months so the excitement wears off" argument, I disagree. I think its more of the "I know its too early to test but I'm going to anyway and I'm going to tell everyone about it and ask for T&P". It just strikes me as odd. Its not that I'm not supporting people, I just also support the use of common sense.

Just a lurker here from time to time, but OP- I tested 5 days before AF was due and got my BFP so it can happen! I know the odds aren't in everyone's favor, but ya never know until you POAS.
