PIP Great news from follow-up u/s

We went in for the ultrasound on the 16th and I'd been not so patiently awaiting a phone call with the results, but ended up not getting one before my appt yesterday with my MW.

Results for the brain: Unremarkable! Otherwise, there is very, very slight dilation of the renal pelvis (RPD), but this is a very common finding with no cause for concern.

We are SO relieved and I am very glad that we decided against going to the specialist right away, it would have been a very costly (out of pocket) visit just to find out that everything is fine, just like I thought!

Just thought I'd share my good news Party!!!

ETA: Might as well add my other good news to this happy post! 1) Friday is my 3rd paycheck for the month and on that paycheck will be a very large backpay amount because I recently discovered I hadn't been properly paid for my night shift differential for the last 2.5 years! Helloooo Baby/Medical/Mat leave/Babymoon Fund! 2) DH got offered to be bumped up to Full Time status at his job yesterday. He's been there 4 years and mostly has just worked seasonally, but has been a huge asset to them and basically has taken on Full Time responsibilities. He recently asked for and got a raise (like $2) as well as a double bonus because of how awesome he is, but this offer is even better! It will bump his pay almost to double what he makes now, plus he'll get benefits. I am SO PROUD!! He really deserves this and it will make life so much easier.

We are so blessed!
