TTC with faint positive
So last month I started my period late but it eventually came and seemed like a normal period. Then when I was ovulating I had some "breakthrough" bleeding which my doctor said was normal and nothing to worry about. I stopped ovulating, by my calculation anyway, on Saturday the 24th of this month, September. Before Saturday we had sex and did what needed to be done 
Well I wake up Saturday and felt awful. I threw up all day. Sunday I had to stay i n bed all day from nausea and yesterday, Monday the 26th, I had to skip work because I still felt bad. This morning I got up sick but throughout the day I felt better. The bottom of my stomach is hurting like sore, feels like I've done ab crunches all day but I haven't, and I just thought I'd try to take a test. I bought first response and it came back with a faint pink second positive line. I'm going to test again in the morning but do you think I might have gotten pregnant earlier this month or last month even and this is just showing up now? Or am I just nuts and have a false positive?

If you have a 2nd line you're probably pregnant as long as you followed the directions and checked within the appropriate time frame.
What makes you think you ovulated on the 24th? If you did, then yes today would be too soon.
When was the first day of your last period? (sorry if that info is in your post - I don't do well with no paragraphs)
The 15th was the last day of my period...I think I ovulated then because I calculate every month with an app and because of my cervical mucas....but this month I was spotting with my ovulation which has NEVER happened
You think you ovulated on the last day of your period?
I asked what was the FIRST day of your last period. Like what day did you period start. It's not uncommon to ovulate as early as cycle day 10 (that's 9 days after the first day of your period - not after the last day of your period). The first day is indicated by the first day of red flow, not spotting.
How do you know? If your period started 17 days ago, you would not know if you were pregnant or not. ESPECIALLY if you actually ovulated 3 days ago. Read the NEWBIE LINK at the top. A few times.
If you started your period on the 10th, it's possible you ovulated on the 20th or so, which would potentially put you at 8DPO (this is all hypothetical) in which it's possible to get a +hpt. Test tomorrow morning with FMU. If it's positive, then congrats and move on over to the first tri board or your birth month board. If it's not positive then test once a week until AF, +hpt or CD60.
