Have your kids decided what they want to be yet?
The last 2 years Maddie has decided what she wanted to be right away and never swayed from it. This year, she changes her mind daily. Ugh.
Since I still get to pick for Maren, she's going to be this:
Re: Halloween
Owen is going to be a hotdog.
DS doesn't really have a preference (that I know of). I think I am going to do the pregnancy skeleton "outfit" and have DS be a skeleton to match me and I will take him ToTing.
ETA: DS was a gnome last year and it was a big hit! Everyone thought he was adorable (although, the boy's gnome costume is red/green, so everyone was guessing anything from one of the seven dwarves to elf to Santa Claus!)
Older = zombie
Younger = very hungry caterpillar (homemade version - brother's old costume, because we can still pick)
Older DD wants to be a vampire. This is the first year she's wanted to be something spooky and I can't wait to help her with her makeup.
Younger DD wants to be Rapunzel. She will be precious!
Duck, totally her choice for Halloween night. Lucy to her BFF Max's Charlie Brown at school.
So Tasty, So Yummy
Can you post pictures of the very hungry caterpillar costume and how you made it? I want to do this for B so bad but don't want to spend $50+ on the costume!
BFP with no treatment!
Since my little one is still baking, I was going to be Humpty Dumpty...
Have a box looking like a brick wall, held up with suspenders, and paint my belly white, with someone to draw eyes, nose, mouth....Have a pair of trowser soxs filled with paper and stabled to the box (for legs) and attach baby booties for the feet....
I am in Texas so i am sure it will be warm enough for me to show my belly...:-)
Originally E said princess and told me she was going to wear a blue princess dress from the dress up clothes we already have. Woohoo! Cheap Halloween!
Of course that didn't last.
She saw a Rapunzel costume at the freaking grocery store, so now that's it. I altered a purple play dress and now it's rapunzel.
And S is going to be a dragon. Kinda made more sense when she was just a generic princess, but heck if I'm changing it now. I'm making it out of a hoodie - I got inspired after searching for diy dinosaur costumes in the last halloween thread.
The boys have dictated the family's Toy Story theme:
Tru will be Woody.
Mathis will be "baby Woody"
I will be Jessie
DH will be Buzz Lightyear. <This> I CANNOT wait to see!
awe....some.....
