I hate always deciding what DH and I eat. I'm stumped on what to cook tonight, maybe I can get some inspiration from you! What are your plans for supper?
Hope everyone is having a great day!

I am making "Paula Dean Chicken" A recipe I got off the show. Basically, Chicken cooked in butter (of course), mushrooms and shallots. Topped with Mozzerala cheese. With some veggies on the side.
I'm making a salad with white beans, tomatoes and escarole and pasta with homemade tomato basil sauce tonight! DH usually does all of the savory cooking around here so I'm excited to be doing it for him!

I've never heard of "Paula Deen" before so I googled her. Her website has some pretty delicious looking foods on it, I just might have to cook something off of it tonight. Thanks!
Edit - Not sure why my quote failed here..

I want to strangle Paula Deen and her butter eating! However her food is AMAZING. I made a pumpkin cheesecake last year for Christmas... it was to die!

Some might think I'm odd but I have one of those dry erase calendar boards with the whole month figured out because I always hated figuring out what was for dinner. So far it's worked but like tonight I'm feeling lazy so I'm just switching today with tomorrow. Tonight is now pizza and tomorrow breaded pork chops, rice and peas.

I try and do the same thing, but only weekly. It helps with impulse shopping at the grocery stores, and involves less thinking throughout the work week.

Ugh, Paula. I went to her restaurant in Savannah 2 years ago and thought I was going to die. I am sure there is still hardened butter in my arteries. It wasn't even a fun indulgence.

That is the offical recipe. But I don't really follow it, I just wing it.
