Testing at work

I have been trying to figure out the best way to take OPKs at work. I bought the wondfo tests off Amazon so they are small enough to hide...its the dang collection cup that makes me look suspect going into the ladies room LOL

How do you keep the whole office from knowing what you are doing? I now have a superior who knows my business but it turned into a nice conversation about how she is about to start TTC too...just hope she doesn't want to compare notes, there is only so much I want to know about her sex life!

Also - There are no cabinents in the bathroom (thought about stashing cups in there already).

    Last time someone asked this a lot of people said they pee in the wrapper.  I test at work and I just bring my purse into the stall w/ me and keep my cups in there. No big deal. That's what I do when I bring a tampon in w/ me so it's the same thing.

    thats an idea! 

    I just haven't done it yet because its too hard.  Plus its easier for me to save up 3 hours of pee and do it right when I get home from work at 5:30. so far its worked.

    ETA:  FWIW  I test when I get home from work.  When I'm close to my surge I'll test twice a day but I ususally do the first test right before I'm out the door in the morning.

    I have been testing when I get home but I am close to when I should O so I wanted to start twice a day today (10am and 3pm). Good thing I did...10am was + and 3pm was -. 

    Purse is a good idea, I was didn't want to "stand out" (I am the only person with a purse in my office - hard to believe but true. I am the only civilian, so all the other females carry their items within their uniform pockets).

    That was my idea and I do it all the time. The wondfo ones are easy to do it with too! I work with a bunch of guys so if I was walking into the bathroom with a cup or my purse, they would definitely think I was nuts. At home I use the little dixie cups and peeing in the wrapper is really no different than using those.

    The little cup I have is pretty flat/low profile, so I can sometimes slip it into my pocket with the OPK. Otherwise, I keep a small cosmetic bag in my desk which I can use to hide the cup and OPK in (or tampons/pantyliners if it's AF time). Nobody ever questions a female going into the bathroom with a small cosmetic bag. She could have something "secret" in there, or it could just be stuff to freshen up her face, or toothpaste and a toothbrush... Just pick one out that's not see-through, obviously! Smile

    What about a collapsible cup? I think they might sell those in the travel or camping section. They are also called telescopic cups.

    Like the idea of using the wrapper or collapsible cup but what do you do next? At least the ones I have, you have to wait 10 minutes to view. I can't imagine hanging out in the bathroom that long and they need a flat surface to develop.

    Peeing in the wrapper is a great idea!  You don't need very much.  You could get one of those collapsable cups.

    I've never tried, but I can imagine it takes super stealth skills.

    I have gotten WAY past caring that I am carrying a dixie cup and a stick into the bathroom. Let them talk. If anybody's brave enough to ask you why, I'd be very surprised...they'll just talk behind your back and speculate. I am of the "who cares" mentality.

    I'm not sure that peeing into the wrapper would work for my pee stream. The cup in the purse is a better idea.

    Maybe (if you use a cup) you could put the test back into the wrapper? I don't think that would mess up the results but I'm not totally sure.

    I have this same problem. There are only three stalls in our restroom and it is a busy restroom. I can't stand just sitting in there for 5 minutes waiting for the Wondfo to show my results. I thought about putting the test in the wrapper and bringing it back to my desk, but then risk having someone see my pull it out and look at it and not sure how putting it back in the wrapper could impact the reading. Plus, it's not something I want to have in my personal trash can (not that anyone looks at my personal trash or anything like that).

    The peeing in the wrapper is an awesome idea! I never thought about that. I just use the cosmetic case & then hang out in the stall. But if you do use the cup, be careful you do not do what I did 2 cycles ago and forget the cup in the stall?

    I use the medicine cup from cough syrup. I put that and the OPK's in a small cosmetic bag and take that with me to the bathroom. People think I am doing my makeup (touching up) or I have AF since when I do have AF I stick a tampon in my pocket.
