We have 1 DD named Alexandra Marie, nn Andie which we think is a spunky, different name that fits her very well.
WDYT of Darcy Elizabeth for another DD?
I like names that can't be dated so nothing trendy and I even avoid some of the darling old lady names for this reason.
Other names we've tossed around:
Lydia
Victoria
Josephine - one of the older lady names I can't resist
Mary
Re: WDYT of Darcy?
Ha cute. Thanks for the feedback.

I like Josephine, nn Josie. I think it goes nicely with Andie.
I don't like Darcy, but honestly it's just because I have a negative association.

Always thought I'd be a "mom of many"--now just hoping to be a "mom of one or two more!"
This is exactly what I thought of too. It is by no means a negative association though, so I don't see it as a reason not to use the name. I think Andie and Darcy would make a really cute sibset.
I agree!
I was actually just thinking about this name the other day. I think it's a nice name...but it's also the name of an ex bf. Mind you, I was a teen then...but I think if I ever used it, I would get a lot of side eyes from my high school friends. lol (I mean I DID date him 15 years ago...but still).

Not a fan of Darcy at all... seems dated to me actually and definitely too cutesy
names that come to mind in that area def. Lydia like you suggested-love!, Daphne, Claudia, Emmeline, Sadie, Colette, Natalie
I just want to give you a world as beautiful as you are to me.
I don't like darcy, sounds too old to me
Victoria and Josephine are pretty names
I like Darcy, but not paired with Elizabeth.
One of the most famous literary couples of all time are Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth. As a big Jane Austen fan, to me it sounds like you are intentionally naming your child after them (like Romeo & Juliet in one name).
I love love love it!!!!
I'll never use it bc we have a popular restaurant by that name near us so DH would never go for it.

I was thinking exactly this. =]
Darcy was a great character.
Love Elizabeth too.
