Are most of you testing the day after your average luteal phase, or are you going by the general testing statistics? My luteal phase is 10 days.. does that mean I could/should test 11DPO or should I wait until I have better odds?
I did a little research that said most people got a BFP .5 days before their missed period... the average being 13.5 DPO because the average luteal phase is 14DPO...
I don't want to turn into a POAS addict and would appreciate any opinions or answers to this.. please and thanks ladies!
Re: Testing timing and Luteal Phase..
you probably will have a crappier time testing. If you implant on 9 or 10dpo you may not get a positive test until a day or two AFTER your AF was due. Like 12dpo or 13dpo.
I'm pretty sure I implanted with #1 on 9dpo (due to the dip) got a pos. test on 13dpo.
ETA: and those tests that say "5 days before your missed period"? Yeah, that means it may work that early for people with LPs that are 14 days or longer.
