I am 13 weeks tomorrow and thought I would peek over and check out the 2nd tri. Hello!
I am also wondering if any of you had a gender prediction at your NT scan and did it turn out to be correct? I had my scan on Friday(12w2d) and the tech said she was 70-80% sure we were having a girl based on the "angle of the dangle"
I have 3 boys and the wait to confirm if this is indeed is a girl is killing me! Here is a pic of what the tech was looking at.
Any opinions?
Re: Peeking over the fence to say hi & a ? for those who know the gender.
I received (well asked for) a gender guess at my NT scan with both this pregnancy and with my DD. Both were correct.
I have heard far too many stories of the early guesses being incorrect though so try not to get too too excited in case it's wrong. And certainly don't go out and buy anything. Our tech told us both times NOT to buy anything b/c it was way to early to make an accurate determination and it was only a guess.
I had CVS testing at around 13wks (a couple of weeks ago) and during the u/s that they use for the procedure we asked the tech if she had any guesses--she guessed boy. The machine that they used was a very advanced Level II type. Read somewhere credible (fairly detailed medical journal that with a good machine/experienced sonographer accuracy can be up to 90% at an early stage).
We should know definitively next week when we get our results back.
I also read a quote from a midwife that mother's intuition is often pretty accurate; it did pan out with our DD...and with DC2 (even before I heard this early "possible result") I was thinking blue.
