hello all! I am new here, but am so excited that there is an adoption board. I have pcos and decided a long time ago that adoption was right for me. My fiance (husband in 26 days) is on board as well!! I always thought about China but with the 30 year old age minimum im not sure we would like to wait that long. Additionally we at least have 2 years of marriage before we can start any process, but I like to get my ducks in a row well ahead of time. Just wanted to introduce myself and let you know I would be lurking!! Right now since we cant do much for another 2 years at least we are SAVING MONEY!! any other suggestions of what to do? I have started researching to the point of getting emails and brochures in the mail, other than that i guess its a waiting game!! Nice to meet everyone!

    Welcome!  And congrats on your upcoming wedding! :)

    Are you considering domestic adoption?  Just so you know, not all agencies have an age or marriage requirement.  Ours doesn't.  So, there are options for you guys if you want to start the process earlier. :)

    Hi, and welcome.  Check out the FAQs at the top of this board.  You'll find the answers to a lot of questions you may not have even known you have.  ;-)  Also, there are some great resources listed there as well.

    If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask!  There's usually someone who can answer or point you in the right way.
