C-Section and belly binders

I bought a belly bandit with the intention of wearing it the day after delivery.  As it happens I ended up with a c-section.  I asked nurses drs when I could start wearing it and I never really got  a striaght answer.  I'm dying to get my body back to normal!  Any others going through this/get a good answer from their doc?

    I started wearing mine about a week after. At my 2 wk post-op my OB commented that my ute was surprisingly small already. He said it was about as big as it was at the end of 3 months instead of 5 months.

    I asked my doctor while in the hospital and I even showed it to her and she said there was no problem with wearing it.

    I showed my Dr also, he said it was fine - I bought a belly bandit. I had the c/s on a Monday and started wearing it on Friday
