For those who don't get the Friends reference, this was the second trimester that Phoebe (who was pregnant earlier on the show) and Rachel (who was pregnant at the time) joke about when your sex drive comes soaring back. Now, I'm not sure if this is a true "Evander Holyfield phase" or how long it will last, but in the last few days, I think I might finally understand what they were talking about. Up until now, I had completely written it off as a joke and was not experiencing anything of the sort. Now, I'm not so sure, but my husband was sure surprised this morning! Anyone else have their own "Evander Holyfield phase"?

Love the Friends refrence (i'm a huge fan, have all seasons and watch 1 episode each night before bed). I can't tell you exactly when it came back but it has been going on for about a month now. DH loves it.
I am a HUGE Friends fan. I have the collectors edition of all ten seasons on DVD and I swear to goodness, like, 10 books about the series. It's an obsession. Our dog now is Gunther. I have also had dogs at one point named Chandler and Chauncey, to which I upgraded from my angel fish Ross & Rachel. I used to have a friend named Monica and seriously asked DH if we could consider Phoebe for a girl name, he shot me down. So I was only missing out on a Joey...lol.

I feel like just in the past week I have gotten to this phase. Before I needed a lot of convincing, but am all about it now. I don't know how long it will last either, but we'll see! I was even late to church on Sunday because of it. OOPS
All the ladies in my husband's office kept telling him "just wait until your wife gets into the 2nd Tri...." And so at week 14 he was surprised that some magic switch had not been flipped. I have been waiting for this to kick in...we'll see. I feel really great now, so hopefully that will put me more in the mood. He has been very patient with me!

Didn't get the reference (though I love the name Phoebe!), but, yes... XD Definitely been noticing this, too. DH is... not displeased with the results.

Glad you enjoyed the post! It was the first thing that came to mind when I was trying to explain it. All I could think of was Phoebe saying she carried triplets so she was "thrice as randy" and Rachel thinking her doctor could give her a pill for it.
You do love Friends! I am definitely a fan, but my fandom doesn't go much past owning the DVDs and being able to tie most normal life events back to a friend's episode (like the other night when a friend was saying how they hate going out to eat with a certain couple cause they will get these expensive meals and he'll just have the salad and they want to split the check evenly.... I wonder if any of them got a mark from a "blow fish".).
