Land lines

Do you still have a home phone?

We are getting rid of ours.  Finally.  Praise baby Jesus.  I've been begging the man to drop it for years.  The only calls we get on that line are donation orgs begging for money.

We were landline-free while in the apt, but DH wants one in the house for our security system. It was all part of a package anyway, so NBD.

Yeah, we still have one.  Part of the "triple play" package from our cable company (we get a discount for phone, cable, and internet).  We use it not a whole lot, but enough I guess.

We have only because it's cheaper to have Verizon fios with the landline, rather than fios by itself. Stupid! But we don't even have a phone in the house, haha!

Yes, we also have it as part of our fios package, though I'd love to get rid of it. We never use it.

We have ours as part of a package deal too.  We actually use ours because none of our cell phones work in the basement where we hang out a lot.

We have Vonage because of my ILs living in India.  If it wasn't for that, we'd be land line free.

Haven't had a land line since I've been married. We've been good without one.

We have vonage.  Our cell phones don't get any reception at our house.  We are changing cell phone providers when the new Iphones come out so we may drop it then, but its only $14.95 a month so its not that big of a deal.

we have one.  There was a reason we still have it (cable or something, I really don't remember).   We do use it.   If I call DH from work when he's home, I'll use my desk phone to call the house phone.   I refrain from using my cell since I only have like 200 min. per month (on my parents plan of all things.. STILL!  But it's free for me and unlimited texting).

We have a home number, but it's VOIP for less than $10 a month through T-mobile. We could probably let it go when it expires in December

We never hooked one up when we moved into our house.  We may get one if we have kids but I don't know.  I guess it depends on how our cell signal holds up.  We can't get a signal in our basement and I occasionally have to stand with my head against our deck door to get a signal on our main floor :S
