I just read your response to my post... Your DD is always face down...
UGH, last night I slept on the floor in DDs room which solved NOTHING. So this is normal? You LO is really doing this? This has to be one of the most frustrating and scary/stressful things this far!
I mean if I am being honest once she was sleeping on her belly, she was actually restful, as opposed to all the moving and grunting she has been doing lately. But of course I had to turn her... HELPPPPPP!
Re: **JennandBaby**
Yes she is face down all the time. She is perfectly capable of turning her head, but she always ends up with her face in the mattress. I know how you feel, I used to be very stressed out about it. I used to wake up constantly and turn her head to the side. Then she would wake up and it would take me forever to get her back to sleep, and then the cycle would repeat.
I finally bought a Angel Care mat so that I didn't have to wake up panicking until I got to her crib and I could feel she was breathing. She has been sleeping on her stomach for about 2 months now. I would rather her not, but she rolls so there's nothing I can do. She's been sleeping on her face on and off every night for about 2 months also. When I wake up I check on her, and if she's on her face I turn her head. I don't turn her onto her back because it doesn't last. That's really all you can do. I know of other babies that slept the same way. Just remember that you can't take care of her if you're exhausted. You need to sleep too! I know it's hard. I hope you get some sleep tonight!
