why must I wake her? vent

Time to pick Olivia up and Abby is sleeping.  Ugh...every day.  It sucks.  OK, carry on.

  • Sad I hear you. I used to have to go switch Dominick off to DH in the middle of his nap time. I hated it.

  • That would KILL me. I hate when I have to wake her up. She's cranky afterwards.

  • I can relate.  I have made it routine for DS to nap from 9:30-10:30 so that I don't have to wake him anymore.  Rough schedule - drop Kate off oat 9:00, go home and put DS down at 9:30, he is up at 10:30, we play/run errands and then I pick up Kate at 12.  It works well.

  • HATE that.

Torin took a 3-hour nap on Saturday. We ended up waiting on him so we could open some b-day gifts and go eat lunch.

  • Yeah, I hear ya. On the days that I'm home from work, i try my hardest to revolve my day around Logan's nap schedule. Of course, with errands that need to be run and things to do, it's hard sometimes.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that I can commiserate.

  • That sucks. Before I had kids I remember thinking parents were silly for getting SO worked up about naps/sleep. Now I understand - boy do I understand!
